  1. This is not the first time this has happened. The climate is a beautiful sin wave...we just happened to be a developed society during this phase.

  2. Also what he is betting on is that people do not understand his "groundbreaking" graph....280 to 380 ppm is such a small amount that you have to be a great analytic chemist to even be able to measure such a small change; especially when measuring a gas. The CO2 argument is absolutely ludicrous. As far as his worries of all the ice melting there have been at least 8 ice ages in the last 750,000 years. We are just aware of the possibility of the next. FEAR MONGERING

  6. hmmm... I retract my statement upon further review, interesting how a well presented argument can sways one opinion, but I can honestly say that being engulfed in my natural resources class has hindered my judgment to look on this issue with an unbiased mind before I come to a conclusion.

  7. This guy seems to be more of a linguist than a nature photographer

  8. We recently have been shown clips in our class of remote islands that get f-ed over because the minute change in sea level has devastated their land. Our teacher is just given us facts and we are to elaborate if Global climate change is really occurring, a lot of the anti-argument stems itself in what you saying, people just think it's a hoax or that it is going on but it's so minute that we don't need to worry about it. From what I've seen so far I think I'm edging towards GCC is getting to be quite an issue. But then again, I haven't allowed myself to listen to a keen anti-argument, cool man, thanks Tim.

  9. Climate change as a political, or societal issue is thought provoking. Making it a relevant discussion. Especially when considering the exponential rise in population around the world, it will become evermore important to use resources sparingly, and attempt to create a sort of "clean waste."

  10. The problem is that scientific data on GCC is a collaboration of statistics. As you may know, statistics are very impressionable and are manipulated to fit either side of the roundtable.

  11. Quote from that site you posted
    http://www.solcomhouse.com/icecap.htm...:

Any organization or person that is saying things like "we can solve the climate crisis" or "we can stop global warming" are making statements that are just "Advertising Slogans" impossible to accomplish.

To actually "stop global warming" or "solve the climate crisis" human beings would have the ability to control the following to name a few:

    The Sun

    Volcanic Activity

    The Weather

    The Atmosphere

    All Human Activities

    The Oceans

  12. That. Was. Awesome. Whats sad is the hardest thing to control (including solar activity) is HUMAN ACTIVITY. We are just as likely to change the sun as to change all mankind. We struggle with this constantly. It is the entire premise of the GCC campaign. I'm not trying to sway you in any direction. This is a topic that just really drives me nuts. Primarily because people are so egotistic that they think they can change the natural events you (via the website) cited. We should be more focused on preventing diseases which have been nearly eradicated in modern countries yet still occur in so many areas of the world. Want to battle a natural phenomena? Tackle Influenza, Tuberculosis, HIV, Malaria etc.
